Before we begin to film the scenes for our trailer we will need to draw out each scene on a storyboard. This will become handy when we film our trailer as we can follow each step of the storyboard. By using a storyboard and filming it to create an Animatic it will allow us to see what our trailer will look like except the Animatic will be made of drawings. Sarah in our group drew each shot as she is the best drawer out of the three of us. Jade and I then filmed each shot on the flip camera for three seconds. The programme that we used to edit our Animatic is Final Cut, we used this as Final Cut will be the programme we use to edit our real trailer. As a group we each found it very simple to edit and didn't take very long, we then had to add in a few transitions such as fade in/out and dissolve. This is to help our Animatic flow and for us to get a better view of how our real trailer will flow scene to scene, We then had to add in our music to our Animatic so that it looked more real. I thought that producing this storyboard trailer it has helped us with the order of our scenes however, when we film we might change the order of the filming so that it looks more effective. But we can use this animatic and storyboard to help us on our filming session and we can follow each shot easily.
Below is our Animatic.
